California College of the Arts presents the DMBA Venture Show an exhibition of fresh and realized concepts about future businesses that can be profitable, meaningful, and sustainable. Comprised of students in the MBA in Design Strategy, venture teams were challenged to cultivate an idea, test for product-market fit, and effectuate a plan for a new company. New ventures in the show challenge structural assumptions underlying established industries to develop new business models. Other ventures based upon new intellectual property and technologies explore new business models, funding approaches, and value propositions for competitive advantage. Come see how we use art and design to express business value, and not just another pitch event. (Refreshments and hors d'ouevres served, of course!)
The DMBA Venture Show is a part of a series of events and exhibitions organized by the California College of the Arts to celebrate the work of its graduating students across all disciplines from May 10 through 13. The series features the school’s annual Commencement Exhibition - an expansive and interdisciplinary showcase of work by graduating students across all disciplines on the college’s San Francisco campus, as well as additional exhibitions and events held at locations in the surrounding neighborhoods.
