Christie’s, the world’s leading art business, will exhibit a free pop-up exhibition of top works of Post-War, Contemporary and Impressionist, Modern Art at Minnesota Street Project in San Francisco from October 17th through the 21st. The exhibition is part of Christie’s global tour of fall auction highlights, and includes over 25 works by major artists of the 20th century, including Willem de Kooning, Mark Grotjahn, Jackson Pollack, Alexander Calder, Rene Magritte, Sigmar Polke, Louise Bourgeois and Wassily Kandinsky. Many of the paintings, sculptures and photographs are sourced from important private and estate collections including property from the Collection of Melva Bucksbaum and The Defining Gesture: Modern Masters from the Eppler Family Collection. 
 
The works featured in the San Francisco Pop-Up Exhibition will be sold at Christie’s flagship galleries in Rockefeller Center, New York on the following dates: November 13 (Impressionist and Modern Art Evening Sale), November 14 (Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sales), November 16 (Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sales), November 15 (Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening Sale).
