McEvoy Foundation for the Arts is pleased to present True Blue Mirror,  the Bay Area premiere exhibition for New York-based artists Ellen Berkenblit and Sarah Braman. Drawn from the McEvoy Family Collection, the exhibition stages a theatrical dialogue between Berkenblit’s gestural, semi-abstract paintings and Braman’s blocky, quasi-mystical sculptures and environments. Juxtaposing these two bodies of work reveals correspondences in line, color, and composition, yet differences in scale and dimensionality, as each is reflected and refracted through the vision of the other.

True Blue Mirror is complemented by an installation of photographs from the McEvoy Collection selected by the artists. The exhibition is curated by Kevin Moore.
