Join us for a special evening of art and conversation supporting the Minnesota Street Project Foundation. On the occasion of Todd Hido’s career-spanning exhibition at Casemore Gallery, Some Polar Expiation, an Enormous Cat, a Complete Collection of Cinematic Houses at Night, a Starlet, a Mentor, some Assorted Reveries & a Message from the Future, on view through June 29, the Foundation is hosting an in-depth artist talk with acclaimed photographer Todd Hido and his longtime collaborator Katya Tylevich.
Hido and Tylevich will discuss the intriguing shifts and connections in the artist's life, work, and process, building on years of collaboration between the artist and writer. Alongside the conversation between these two great thinkers, Hido will also present a new visual presentation that takes viewers on a journey through his life and work.
VIP ticket-holders will also get access to an exclusive exhibition tour and private reception at Casemore Gallery at 1150 25th Street, as well as a signed copy of Hido’s book The End Sends Advance Warning by Nazraeli Press. All attendees will receive a signed postcard set to commemorate the exhibition: Todd Hido, A Souvenir, Casemore Gallery, designed by Bob Aufuldish.
All proceeds from this event benefit the non-profit Minnesota Street Project Foundation.
