We are excited to welcome you to the 5th San Francisco Art Book Fair (SFABF) after a two-year pandemic hiatus. We have missed you all so much that we added an extra full day!
SFABF is an annual multi-day festival of artists' publications. The event features artists’ books, art catalogs, monographs, periodicals, zines, printed ephemera, and more. These works are presented by over 100 independent publishers, antiquarian dealers, artists, collectors, and enthusiasts.
This year, SFABF presents a new Zine Tent just behind Minnesota Street Project on Tennessee Street. The tent will highlight 38 publishers from around the world whose practices are dedicated to accessible and inventive forms of bookmaking. Additionally, Tennessee Street will host a series of outdoor programs and activities. Refreshment options on-site will include food trucks Sam's Chowdermobile, Mozzeria, Tacos San Buena, and Yummi BBQ.
The weekend will also feature a variety of talks, discussions, book launches, special projects, and signings curated by David Senior, Chief of Library and Archives at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. See a full list of exhibitors and programs at the link below.
SFABF is brought to you by Colpa Press, Park Life, and Minnesota Street Project.
