The second program from the Art, Social Space and Public Discourse series, Live Broadcast from Tomorrow opens a window to Tehran, Iran where electronic music composer and sound artist Sote will perform a new sound composition in response to the extracted texts and empty frames on display in au(ro)ra; a polyphony of sounds and absence of words convey experiencing meaning otherwise.

The performance is preceded by a conversation focusing on light, translation/ transmission, and the aura with Ala Ebtekar, Griff Williams, and Ahoo Najafian. A short video produced by Gallery 16 documenting Ebtekar's newly released "Equation Of Time" project will be presented. This extraordinary print edition uses light as both subject and medium.
