The Jones Institute presents Between the Lines: Chris Whitefield in conversation with Louisa Gloger, Executive Director of the Bolinas Museum

Between the Lines brings together an artist and an arts administrator both from Bolinas, a renowned arts colony in Northern California. With over 20 drawings currently on view at The Jones Institute, Chris Whitefield will be celebrating his exhibition in conversation with Louisa Gloger and talking about his new technique of drawing as if it were a form knitting, by stacking alternating rows of open and closed gaps of line to create patterns.
In 2021, the DeYoung Museum acquired two drawings from the ‘Shelter in Place’ series, a few of those works are included in the exhibit.
The Jones Institute is honored to produce both Between the Lines and Chris’s latest exhibition, Drawings on view through February 18, 2023.
